For All The Lonely Nights

To appreciate the highs one must first understand the lows. In my cell, I spent a myriad of nights wondering if the fight for my art was worth it. There were so many cold and dark nights at rock bottom and in those moments I thought back on the days I spent flying high creating my work. I thought specifically about this place, the tallest building on this side of the world, I dreamt of it, that one day I would make it out and push through. Knowing where I had been and the places I had climbed gave me the strength to understand I could climb out of the bottom if I only believed hard enough.
