About
Jack Kaido is a pseudonymous digital abstract artist cited by Christie’s as one of the artists at the forefront of digital art today who are influencing the future of the medium.
Kaido’s digital paintings explore abstraction in the modern era. For the artist, the internet is canvas, tool and subject matter, and the digital language he lives and interacts with — web browsers and tabs, computer UI, apps, social media, pixellation, glitch and text — are weaved with collage-like abstractions rooted in the influence of art past and present, among them Cubism, AbEx, Glitch, contemporary art and the prehistoric cave painters.
His art has been exhibited internationally, including at Christies in New York, London, Miami, Montreal, the Hamptons and Valencia, and has been sent into outer space and aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on Axiom Space’s AX-3 Mission.
