Hi, I’m Uyo. I’m a cartoonist deeply inspired by the charm of retro cartoons. I’ve found myself “trapped” in the magic of 1930s vintage animation, and over time, I’ve developed a unique style by blending those old-school cartoon aesthetics with a modern twist. One of the most iconic elements in my work is the distinctive eye style I call “Eyes of Luv” — my personal way of expressing and dedicating my love for all forms of art. Through this fusion, I create pieces that I truly connect with. Each artwork reflects my deep affection for cartoons, a sweet nostalgia rooted in childhood memories of watching animated shows and reading comics. My work often explores the absurdity of fantasy, the strangeness of tragedy, satire, silliness, memes, and things that feel completely illogical. Sometimes, it even flips reality on its head, turning the expected into the unexpected.
