un vent d’hiver

when the sun
leaves behind
whispers of autumn

for the room gets colder
the pills stop working
and my eyes grow darker

maybe i'll find
a reason to wake up and heal my mind

or fall back into my habits
just to bring back
the feelings for a bit

to spiral into obsession
and burn what's left
to oblivion

so by the time its noon
it all ends with this
