A lone bird arrives,
whispers to the cherry tree
a song of farewell.

A bird arrives
with morning's cheer,
its song a spark
among the waking trees.

Sakura sway
in blushing breeze,
as if they lean
to catch the notes
of spring’s first lullaby.

Petals twirl,
a soft parade,
joy in every flutter,
farewell full of light.
