The Present - Final Chapter Series: Human Strata



The series aims to illustrate the layered nature of the self and our counterintuitive capacity to exist in multiple states at once. As is common in my work, each piece holds several interpretations, here also touching on the question of free will versus determinism through a temporal offset. The figures imagine the self as a layered stack of diverging possibilities, world lines compressed into a single silhouette, as if every decision fractures time in a collapsed multiverse and sends another version of the self along a different path.
