In this body of work I explore how invisible forces can interact with the human form. To do so, I rely on displacement maps as the core technique. Displacement maps are fundamentally computational; through them the work probes the interaction between the physical and the digital. It does so by distorting a classical human form reminiscent of sculpture with data. This body of work is a personal one. Displacement maps are one of my favorite techniques to use during experimental sessions. The interaction between the human form and invisible forces lends itself to illustrating emotional states in novel ways.
