Life After Life

Memories of a dangerous solo glacier exploration deep into the wilderness of British Columbia. A place where I risked my life taking this image, leaving my mind to wander through existential questions about life, death, and the afterlife. // A bright light. Transcendence of Ego and spatiotemporal boundaries. Altered time perception, entering an unearthly environment. Mind and body co-existing in duality but separate. Moving through a tunnel filled with blue velvet darkness. Uncontrollable attraction to a brilliant light, a feeling of becoming one with it. Is it myself? A lifting mind, an overwhelming sense of peace and well-being. Floating in silence, fearless. Pain existing more in imagination than reality. This light again. An endless end.
