Eyes On The Empire

After an exhausting 1400-foot climb above NYC, fog rolled north from lower Manhattan completely blanketing the city. Acting now as a human drone perched in the clouds I quickly switched to my zoom lens and snapped this shot as the helicopter swept past. Climbing has taken me to some amazing places and one thing always rings true-the climb always precedes the view and nearly all the best things in life are on the other side of vulnerability.
